Cross-border shipments from US vendors to Canadian researchers proceed normally under customs declarations as “research laboratory supplies.”

The most significant change is enforcement focus. The FDA has continued issuing warning letters to vendors making explicit therapeutic claims or marketing to non-research audiences. The agency has not changed its baseline position on research-use sales — vendors operating within established compliance frameworks have continued operations without disruption.
State-Level Variation (US)
Federal posture provides the baseline, but individual states may impose additional restrictions. California, Florida, and New York have historically had stricter posture on specific compounds.
